Arvocado
My 8th font, Arvocado, is finally here! Arvocado is a bold & funky sans-serif font with slightly reversed contrast features and a truly revelrous soul. The font is a revival based on an unnamed hand-lettered alphabet on page 55 of John Mauritz Bergling’s 1914 “Art Alphabets and Lettering”. I loved the challenge of building on these letters as they breath new life.
I balanced the weight of the letters to flow better together in font form, as well as I built out a unique lowercase set, figures, punctuation and all Western European diacritics.
Arvocado is all about that carefree attitude of California. It’s about laying back in the afternoon, enjoying a fresh sandwich with ripe avo. It’s not too shabby if you ask me, but I’ve been staring at it for far too long so you’ll have to be the judge. Arvocado is sure to add personality and character to your 2023 design project and beyond.
*Good for personal and commercial use*
